Excellent Watch
I bought this watch, sold it, then bought the version with the sapphire face and case back on a black leather alligator strap. I loved both of them. Elegant and sporty. Very strong look with the simple white hands against the black face. At the same time it's understated. This is the best watch Omega produce. Serious watch collectors have this watch in their collection because of its NASA connection. It has been produced by Omega virtually unchanged for decades. I also own a Rolex GMT II which is more expensive, but the Speedmaster is far and away my favourite watch. Easy to sell as they are so popular. It's a no brainer - treat yourself.

history and classic timepiece
In my opinion the most beautiful watch face ever made, not too big, smart, classic yet timeless with just the right amount of sportyness whilst remaining elegant. Doesnt screem for attention when worn like many new watches but still regularly gets commented upon. To be able to tell people it was the first watch to be flight qualified by NASA for all manned space missions to the moon with the Apollo landings always creates interest and ALWAYS wins the 'who`s got the best watch' argument.
