Rotary men's gold-plated skeleton watch
looks great but faulty
bought this watch for my husband as a 40th b-day gift; The watch looks beautiful and is easy to set and get going, as demonstrated to us by the shop assistant. This watch does not run on battery and does not need winding up in the usual sense, but is supposed to wind itself up through the motion as you wear the watch. Unfortunately as soon as my husband put on the watch, it ran for about 20 mins. before it stopped working. The only way to get it going again was to pull out the screw cap as if you were going to reset the time, but after a few minutes wear it stops again. Left lying on the table it seems to run fine for hours, but as soon as my husband wears it, it stops repeatedly and is therefore unusable. Considering this is a watch which is supposed to be powered by motion, it is ironic that it is motion exactly which seems to make it get stuck. Perhaps this is a fault specific to my husband's watch and not a problem for all of them, but I will be returning this watch for a full refund.
