The online ring builder is a step-by-step process specifically to design and build engagement and wedding style rings. The in-store bespoke jewellery design service allows you to create any item of jewellery.

This is currently an online only service, however there is a similar service available via the in-store bespoke jewellery design service.

Rings created via the online ring builder will be shipped within 4-5weeks of placing an order. Rings and jewellery created in store typically have a shipping time of between 4-6 weeks after the order has been placed, although this can be longer depending on the complexity of the design.

For the online ring builder, full payment is required at the point that the order is placed. 

For the in-store bespoke jewellery design service, you can come into store for a free, no-obligation consultation with one of our inspirational experts, and a 50% non‑refundable deposit is required at the point your order is placed.

Rings ordered via the online ring builder can be refunded within 30 days of the item being shipped, following the instructions on the dispatch note.

Any item ordered via the in-store bespoke jewellery design service is non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights. 

Rings ordered via the online ring builder can be delivered to a home or alternative address. They cannot be delivered to an Ernest Jones store. 

Rings and jewellery ordered through the in-store bespoke jewellery design service can be sent directly to a home or alternative address, or delivered to an Ernest Jones store. 

As rings ordered via the online ring builder and through the in-store bespoke jewellery service are made to order they cannot be exchanged for a different size, so we advise that you take steps to ensure the correct size before you place the order.

However, we know that can sometimes be difficult, so we offer free ring re-sizing within the first 30 days of the item being shipped to home or alternative addresses, or collected from store. Please note that ring sizing eligibility is subject to the style of the ring, and most rings from either service will only be suitable for re-sizing a maximum of 1-2 sizes up or down. 

Outside of this time period, re-sizings and any other potential future repairs required on rings/jewellery from either service can be taken into any of our Ernest Jones stores, and they will provide you with a quote
