A: We repair a wide variety of jewellery, including rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, bangles, pendants and body jewellery. In many cases, we can also repair jewellery purchased from another retailer. Our expert jewellers will assess your piece and advise on the most appropriate repair options.
Q: Is there a guarantee on jewellery repairs?

A: Yes. We currently repair lab-grown diamond jewellery purchased from Ernest Jones. Our team will assess your jewellery and confirm the available repair options.
Q: How does the online jewellery repair service work?
A: Simply complete the online repair form and send your jewellery to us using a secure tracked delivery service. Your jewellery will be opened under camera at our workshop before being assessed by one of our expert jewellers. You'll receive an email containing a repair estimate, expected turnaround time and secure payment link. Once payment has been received within 14 days, we'll complete the repair and return your jewellery using DX Express.
Q: How should I send my jewellery for an online repair?
A: Please package your jewellery carefully and send it using a tracked and signed-for delivery service. We recommend avoiding sentimental or presentation packaging. The workshop address to send it to is Design and Service Centre, H. Samuel, 56-57 Briggate, Leeds, LS1 6AS.
Q: How will my jewellery be returned?
A: Completed online repairs are returned to the address supplied on your booking form using DX Express. For security reasons, online repair orders cannot be redirected to another address or collected from an Ernest Jones store.
Q: Is my jewellery insured during the repair process?
A: Yes. Jewellery booked into an Ernest Jones store is insured from the point you leave it with us until collection. For online repairs, your jewellery is insured from the moment it arrives at our workshop until it is delivered back to you.
Q: How do I find out how much my repair will cost?
A: Some guide prices are shown above. If you visit one of our stores, many repairs can be quoted on the same day. For more complex repairs or online bookings, a detailed estimate will normally be provided within 10 days of receiving your jewellery.
Q: How do I find out how long my repair will take?

Q: How do I pay for my repair?
A: For repairs booked in-store, a 50% deposit is taken when your jewellery is left with us, with the remaining balance payable on collection.
For online repairs, you'll receive a secure payment link with your quotation. Payment must be made within 14 days before repair work begins.
Q: What happens if I don't pay within 14 days?
A: If payment isn't received within 14 days for an online repair, your jewellery will be returned to the address provided on your booking form without the repair being completed.
Q: What are the shipping costs?
A: For repairs booked in-store, shipping to and from our workshop is included.
For online repairs, return delivery costs £5 for repairs under £50 and is free for repairs of £50 or more. Any applicable delivery charge will be included within your quotation before payment.
