The Seiko Astron GPS Solar 3X ‘Crystal Box’ is inspired by the original 1969 Astron, the world’s first quartz watch, and its association with quartz crystals. Its name also reflects the raised box-shaped sapphire crystal, offering scratch resistance, clarity, and a vintage geometric feel. This first-in-Astron collection polygonal bezel adds a strong, dynamic appearance, paired with highly visible indices. Powered by the in-house 3X62 GPS solar movement, the watch automatically updates to the exact time via satellite, charging from any light source with a six-month power reserve. The 41.2mm titanium case with super-hard coating features a titanium bracelet, LumiBrite hands and indexes, and a three-fold clasp for comfort and durability.
