This Seiko Classic Series timepiece blends the brand’s watchmaking expertise with traditional Japanese Urushi lacquering, recreating the dial of Seiko’s first pocket watch, the 1895 ‘Timekeeper.’ Beneath a dual-curve sapphire crystal is a jet-black Urushi lacquered dial with a ‘railtrack’ perimeter and gold-coloured Roman numerals, finished through repeated lacquering and polishing for a glossy, Kanazawa-inspired effect. Slim, baton-style numerals enhance legibility, while the super-hard coated stainless steel 40mm case ensures scratch resistance. Designed for both men and women, it comes with a sustainably sourced black leather strap certified by the Leather Working Group. Powered by an in-house 6R5H automatic calibre, it features a 24-hour display, three-day power reserve, and accuracy of -15/+25 seconds per day, with 100m water resistance for everyday practicality.
